$70.00

Description (please read everything below before purchasing!)

Skill Level: Advanced (however, all skill levels are welcome!)

If you love Halloween, but you love an elegant twist on the Holiday, then you are in the right place! This class has everything you need to kick off your Halloween cookie decorating! There is SO much to learn in this "Bewitched Baroque" Kookie Class. From florals, to intricate fondant work, to creating 3D royal icing transfers that lift right off the cookie- there is no shortage of show-stopping techniques you can add to your cookie decorating tool kit. PLUS this class comes with my delicious "Death By Dark Chocolate" cut out sugar cookie recipe that you simply CAN'T resist! This class combines all the haunting feels of Halloween while also giving fabulous “Phantom of the Opera” vibes. These cookies are the perfect combination of spooky and elegant and are sure to wow your friends and family this Halloween season.

Pre-requisite: You will need a projector for this class. There are a lot of strategic designs planned specifically around the use of a projector and I link my projector recommendations in the supply list. I also highly recommend a dehydrator for this class, but you can use a small table fan if you do not have a dehydrator. You do NOT have to be a professional cookie artist to take this class, but a general knowledge of cookie terminology and a solid understanding of cookie decorating is highly recommended.

PLEASE NOTE:

  • All the information you need to get started will come to you in your confirmation emails (read more below).

  • You will need to provide all your own supplies for this class and you will NOT receive any digital downloads directly after purchase (unless you purchased the digital STL files for 3d printing your own cutters at home).

  • There are a few VERY specific supplies needed to properly complete some of the techniques in this class, particularly for the "Moth Baroque Frame" cookie. Pay attention to the supply list to be sure you order these essential items for class.

How It Works:

  • After your purchase of this class, you will receive 2 emails: One will be your purchase confirmation email with your order number and then a second, separate email will have the link to join the private Facebook Group for this class (you will receive a THIRD email if you purchased the digital cookie cutter STL files).

  • To join the class and access all the class materials, you will click on that link and request to join the Facebook Group for this class with your order number. Please allow up to 24 hours to be approved into the group, as I have to approve every request individually.

  • The link and password to access the class materials is posted within the Facebook Group. Be sure to check your spam or promotional folders if you do not see your order confirmation emails right away!

  • You can join this class with or without Facebook. ** If you wish to take this class without Facebook, just purchase a ticket like normal, and then email me with your order number and I will get you all set up! All of the class materials are hosted on my website so you don’t have to rely solely on Facebook to access the class. However, if you DO choose to join the class through the Facebook link, you will be joining an exclusive online group where you can interact and share your work with your fellow students and have unlimited access to ME 24/7!

  • This is a pre-recorded class that will be available to you 24/7 and won’t ever expire. Need to pause in between? No problem!! Come and go as you please. All of the class contents will remain available to you INDEFINITELY so you can decorate at your own pace from the comfort and safety of your home (and in your jammies, no doubt)!

  • Class comes with hours of pre-recorded video tutorials, a full supply list with easy, direct shopping links, a detailed Welcome Packet, exclusive discounts on supplies from your favorite vendors, my signature recipes, icing gules for class, reference cookie photos and so much MORE!

Topics covered in this class:

  • How to work with silicone molds to create fondant transfers and learn how to create a 3-dimensional fondant bow.

  • How to pipe royal icing transfers and how to make them stand up off your cookies!

  • Learn how to paint a "glowing candle" effect on cookies.

  • Learn how to create the popular "white crackle" texture on your cookies.

Add these DIGITAL STL files to your cart if you have a 3d printer and can print your own cookie cutters. NOTE- these are NOT the physical cookie cutters. These are the digital STL files for 3D printing!!!

Note Please note that there are TWO design options available for the “Glowing Candle Coffin Frame” cookie cutter for this class. In the class videos, I use the coffin frame cutter with NO bow and that is the cutter included in the set of 4 being sold for this class. That cutter design is the default option for this class and the one that I recommend using. In class, because we are designing the bow at the top of the coffin frame cookie with fondant, it will be raised up and off the base of the cookie so there is no need for the cutter to have the outline of the bow. However, I know some people do not like fondant so I wanted to provide an alternative cutter design option that included the bow outline in case anyone wanted to decorate the bow with royal icing instead. Please know, I will not be teaching how to decorate the bow with royal icing in this class- if you do choose the alternative cutter design to create the bow with royal icing, you are on your own.
